Flipkart To Start Testing Web3.0 Metaverse Commerce with innovation Lab.

  Bengaluru-based e-commerce giant Flipkart has launched an in-house innovation arm called 'Flipkart Labs' to explore ways to expand onto the metaverse. Walmart-backed e-commerce marketplace will test non-fungible tokens or NFTs virtual immersive storefronts and play to earn. Naren Ravula VP and Head Product Strategy and Deployment, Flipkart labs said, “One of the first areas of focus for Flipkart Labs is to collaborate with the Web 3.0 community and set the standard for commerce in the Metaverse." Web 3.0 is an impact across the e-commerce sector, said Ravula adding that it “leverages the best of latest technology like blockchain for real-world use cases that can digitally transform businesses like ours". Samsung Asset Management list its blockchain ETF on the Hong Kong Stock

  Samsung Group is reportedly pursuing Asia’s first blockchain ETF in a bid to capitalize on growing demand. South Korea’s Samsung Asset Management will attempt to launch the fund sometime within the first half of 2022 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It’s the first time an Asia-based ETF of its kind that includes crypto will be listed in the region. The vehicle is expected to track a basket of major blockchain tech companies. The move follows the asset manager’s acquisition of US ETF provider Amplify Holding Company in late March, in which it took a 20% stake via a special purpose vehicle. The investment arm is Amplify’s exclusive ETF partner in Asia. Samsung’s ETF is expected to closely resemble Amplify’s Block ETF-albeit under its brand which invests 80% of its net assets into equity securities of blockchain-based companies.   Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman states that the country's crypto policy will not be rushed. Deus Finance Hacked again Approx $13 Million Stolen

  Blockchain security company PeackShield reported that Deus Finance was exploited approx $13.4 million. The hacker went via a familiar route by using a flash loan-assisted manipulation price oracle that "reads from the StableV1 AMM-USDC/DEI pair." Hacker managed to manipulate the price of collateral DEI and used it to borrow and drain the pool. Hacker managed to steal approx $13.4 million worth of digital assets. However, PeackShield warned that the losses for the protocol could be significantly higher. The hackers borrowed approx 800 ETH to launch the hack, all withdrawn from Tomado Cash and tunneled to Fantom via Multichain. The hacker's address currently shows that they have swapped the stolen funds for ETH and have sent them back to Tornado Cash. Nike and RTFKT launches CryptoKicks—Their First Ethereum NFT Metaverse Sneakers

  Sports and Fashion giant Nike has released its first CryptoKicks on Ethereum in partnership with RTFKT studios An average Nike CryptoKicks sneakers are selling for approx 2.5 to 3 ETH ($7,500 - $9000) The shoes known as Nike Dunk Genesis CryptoKicks, are a collection of 20,000 non-fungible tokens designed for use in the metaverse. People who have avatars in the metaverse can wear them in the virtual space. Also, it's possible to change the design of the shoes by using the "Skin Vials" collection, which goes for 0.8 ETH ($2,500) at least. The skin rarity of each vial differs, and some of the rate skins go for higher prices. Two Japanese automakers Nissan and Toyota include established procedures in the Metaverse. Nissan's virtual showroom can host vehicle launches and other events, while Toyota's workspaces are being utilized to hold employee meetings. Japanese carmakers Nissan and Toyota have become the latest global corporation to join the metaverse behind a report that said the former had established a virtual showroom while the latter had created virtual workspaces.
